Should a day off be earned?

In my offices, the four-day workweek isn’t a perk. It’s earned. Hit 45 policies in a month and you get a four-day week the following month. Inside sales earns it at 27. Service gets it unless they’re part time or on an Action Plan.

Some agents tell me that sounds harsh. My team tells me it’s the best motivator we have. They know exactly what it takes, and nobody has to guess whether they’ve earned it.

I’m curious how others handle this. Do you tie time off to production? Does it build drive in your office, or does it create pressure that does more harm than good? What have you tried that worked, or didn’t?

Tell us below. Someone reading this is trying to decide right now.
